By accessing or using Dockt's certificate validation platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Dockt provides an automated certificate validation platform that helps organizations verify worker credentials and certifications. Our Service includes:

• Certificate image upload and analysis
• Automated validation and verification
• Validation history and reporting
• Job profile management
• API access (for eligible plans)

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

Organization Accounts

Organization administrators are responsible for managing user access and ensuring all users comply with these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Upload fraudulent, forged, or illegally obtained certificates
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties

5. Fees and Payment

Pricing

Certain features of the Service require payment. Current pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice.

Billing

For paid plans, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited validations per month. Usage beyond the free tier will be charged according to our published rates.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dockt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any certificates or documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze that content solely for providing the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Important: While we strive for high accuracy in certificate validation, our Service is a tool to assist in verification and should not be the sole basis for employment or compliance decisions. You are responsible for final verification and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dockt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any errors or inaccuracies in validation results
• Any third-party content or conduct on the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dockt and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
